The first two pictures are downtown Marquette, MI. The downtown area is cute and old. There are a bunch of shops and harbor, like many other towns in Michigan. After doing some shopping downtown and eating, we went to a park called Presque Isle Park. It is a beautiful park. There are lots of rocks, with small sandy areas in-between. You can swim there (if you want to swim in super cold water). It was really fun to climb around on the rocks and just explore. We came across an area where a bunch of other people were jumping off a cliff. We decided to join. The water was shockingly cold and the cliff was much higher up than anything I have jumped from in the past. It was a really fun experience, jumping off a cliff in such a pretty place, surrounded by a bunch of new faces.
The last three pictures are of a waterfall called Superior Falls. Superior Falls is pretty difficult to find. It’s not in a State Park or major city park. You have to look up directions online and follow a bunch of small roads to get there. Then you have to follow a path down to the water. I’m really glad we decided to go through all the trouble of finding it because it was very impressive. It’s a lot bigger than it looks in this picture.
