Surely I have mentioned this park in the past, because I love it so much. I’m talking about Heisler Park in Laguna Beach. It’s pretty much my favorite spot in Laguna. Obviously, the actual beach is my favorite spot, but I mean aside from that. It’s an ocean-front park that is based on the cliffs. There are a few other parks connected to it as well. What’s so cool about this park is all of the paths and sitting areas. It’s an amazing spot to chill out and look at the ocean. There are so many great views. There are also several beach entrances as well. You can go down to the little coves. I visit this park almost every time I go to Laguna. I’ve been many, many times. I just can’t get enough of it. If you don’t look for it or know it’s there you might not notice. The first few times I visited Laguna, I didn’t know about it. That’s why I wanted to talk about it.
If you want to access it the best place to park is in the street, right next to it. if you park downtown it’s a pretty far walk. If you park on PCH, there is a limit to the time on the meter and it’s not very long. There is a bit of free parking but it fills up super fast. Otherwise, I think the meters are about $2.50 per hour. There are also plenty of restrooms and dogs are allowed. Dogs are actually allowed on almost every beach in Laguna as well. During the prime summer months they are only allowed in the morning and evening but otherwise they are always allowed if they are leashed. If you are traveling to Laguna or live locally be sure to check out Heisler Park.
