Cozy Grey Sweater at Sequoia National Park

SWEATER: H&M  |  JEANS: Forever 21  |  BACKPACK: Primark

This past weekend we (me and my fiancĂ©) decided to go on a little road trip camping trip to Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park.  It was a super last minute decision.  We decided to go on Friday and Left Saturday morning at 6am.  I just got a new car (blog post here) and wanted to take it on a little trip.  Sequoia is about a 4 hour drive from Los Angeles.  It’s the perfect little weekend destination to get away from city life.  That’s what I love about living in California is that there are so many different places to go and see.

We spent Saturday at Sequoia.  We did a few hikes and then camped there.  My favorite hike was Moro Rock.  It’s the first few photos.  That hike was one of the coolest hikes I have ever done.  It’s super high up on a bare rock face.  There is a winding path that goes up to the top.  I highly recommend it if you visit!  I think it would be a really good place to watch the sunset as well.  We also stopped by General Sherman.  General Sherman is the biggest tree in the world, in terms of amount of wood.  A part two from this trip will be up in a few days.  I will be sharing some photos from Kings Canyon National Park.
