Welcome to the last post from my summer road trip! It was such a long journey (2000 miles), and we had so many exciting stops. The last two days we spend driving through Michigan. After coming back across the border of Canada, we stayed in Mackinaw City. We hopped on a ferry boat and went to Mackinac Island for the evening to eat dinner and do some shopping. Pretty sure this is my third post including Mackinac Island that I have made on this blog. It is one of my favorite places. We ate dinner at Pink Pony, went in some souvenir shops, and just wandered around the island. We were mostly there at night so I didn’t get that many good pictures. We also made stops in Ludington, Charlevoix, Traverse City, Glen Arbor and Grand Haven. Those are some of my other favorite Michigan towns as well. Michigan has such a special feeling. It’s got that charming seaside ambiance, without the salt water. I always love visiting, without fail. There are just so many fun things to do. You can find a cute cafe, restaurant, or shop, go to the beach or boating, go wine tasting or fruit picking, I don’t even know. There is just so much to do. On our way home we saw a double rainbow and it was the perfect end to the daylight of our trip. When we stopped in Grand Haven, we were able to see the fountain show that they host. It’s just where they play music and you watch the lit up fountains dance to it. It’s kind of interesting.
This lace-up top came from Forever 21. I love everything about it. I am really into the lace-up look, but I don’t like when it comes too low, because then wearing a bra gets complicated. I love how this one stays higher up on the chest. The tassels also make it feel really special and the color is beautiful. I’m going to Florida soon, and am planning on bringing this top with.
