Honest Review of Petite Dressing
I wore this scoop neck sweater to Santa Barbara for the day. It was a chilly day so I wanted to layer it with a mock neck underneath. I paired it with my white jeans with a purple floral print. The colors match really well. This sweater is nice because you can wear it on warmer days or colder days. The knit is an interesting design that has some gaps to let a breeze in, if you want to wear it on a warmer day. When I received this sweater I was pleasantly surprised by the fabric. It’s made from chenille yarn, so it’s super soft. The fit is also perfect for me. I got a size medium and it’s exactly what I was hoping for. It’s a little bit cropped and ever-so-slightly oversized. I don’t like my sweaters to be too tight. The quality feels really nice.
On Saturday I went to some fun spots in San Pedro and chose to wear this quilted jacket because it was windy. San Pedro is right next to the ocean so it can be very chilly there. I wore it over my sweater vest and with my cream jeans. I really like to pair cream and brown together. This jacket is from Petite Dressing as well and I love the style. I wasn’t sure exactly what shade of brown it would be but it’s like a true chocolate brown. That’s ideal because it’s easier to style and match with other things. My favorite thing about this jacket, aside from the style is the diamond quilted design. It’s like a puffer jacket but instead of horizontal lines it has diamond-shaped stitches. It just looks a bit more interesting. I didn’t have a jacket like this and I really needed one. I have winter coats and super thin jackets but nothing in between. The quality and fit are nice as well. I chose a size small. I does run a bit small but it fits me fine.
As many of you know I am a petite woman (5’2″). I haven’t tried many petite clothing brands because they are kind of hard to find. I really don’t feel like there are many out there. There are the random small brands in department stores that occasionally carry petite sizes and that’s all I’ve really come across. I was recently introduced to Petite Dressing, which is an online clothing store for petite women. It has a large variety of clothing styles. They carry jackets, casual pieces, more dressy dresses, etc. The shipping for these items was super fast and the quality is really nice. I genuinely don’t have anything negative to say about this company. If you’re a petite woman, like me, I suggest checking them out.
