Hsi Lai Temple

A couple of weeks ago my husband and I decided to do something a little bit more interesting. We visited the Hsi Lai Buddhist Temple, in Hacienda Heights. It’s the largest Buddhist Temple in the United States and very close to where we live. We both like the idea of Buddhism and have visited a few other temples. It’s just interesting to see different cultures and the beautiful architecture. Anybody is allowed to visit. It’s just a fun thing to do when you want to do something a little different or look into other religions (never sure if Buddhism is actually a religion). This temple is really pretty and has so many little rooms and interesting statues. It really just makes me want to go to Asia and see lots of other temples. Some day soon, hopefully.

I've never been inside the temple. But I think I passed this very temple while going to Brea mall, when I used to live near LA.
