Junk to Jewelry

Sparkle Top: Forever 21

          The other day I was feeling kind of crafty so I decided to experiment with jewelry making.  For some weird reason I love spray painting things gold.  Haha!  It’t just really satisfying.  Spray paint is fun to paint with because I love how evenly it comes out, and gold is just awesome.  I found some junk around my room.  This included broken jewelry, rhinestones, flowers, a button, and cabochon flowers.  I hadn’t previously decided what I was going to make.  My plan was to not plan.  I ended up using some one the pieces and decided to make this necklace.  I glued them on leather and cut around them.  Then I attached the gold chain and clasp.  This is the end result and I am pretty happy with it.
