Loungewear Sweater Set

          I got this sweater set a few months ago and love it so much.  It’s the first loungewear set that I have ever owned.  It’s from Anthropologie.  They had a pink and yellow one that I wanted so badly but it sold out before I could get my hands on it.  What I love about this set is the mixed prints.  It’s just so unique.  I also love that it’s made of sweater fabric because it makes if feel more wearable and less pajama-esque.  I can wear each piece individually, paired with something else and it would be a bit more elevated than a more casual fabric.  

          I wore this out for the first time a few weeks ago and I got a very distinct look from a woman at Trader Joe’s.  She looked me up and down as if I was wearing a clown suit.  It honestly made me question whether or not it’s acceptable to wear loungewear out.  then I realized that she was wearing workout wear to do something other than work out.  I don’t feel like it’s weird to wear loungewear out of the house unless it looks a lot like pajamas, perhaps.  What do you think? do you leave your house in loungewear?  I always see people in literal PJ’s, yoga pants, or sweats, so I really don’t know why it would be weird to wear loungewear.  I’ve always been the type of person to wear what I want so it didn’t really bother me too much.  What do you think?
