Marble Canyon, Kootenay National Park

I must admit, Kootenay National Park was never on my “must see” list until super recently. I saw a TikTok about this trail and that is what made me want to go. I was already planning on going to Banff and this park is super close by. This trail is called Marble Canyon. It’s a relatively short and easy trail. What makes Marble Canyon so cool is that it’s really deep and the water is incredibly blue. The trail criss-crosses over the top of the canyon with bridges and walkways. It’s a really unique trail. At the end of the trail is a waterfall.
This trail was really easy to park at. There is a nice sized parking lot and the trail itself wasn’t very crowded. There is no gatehouse for this park to pay, at least not at the entrance we came in. I’m not sure if you have to pay to park because we already had our receipt from Banff. We were really only at Kootenay for maybe two hours but I wish we could have spent more time there. We went the same day as Banff and had a ton to squeeze in. If you are visiting Banff I recommend stopping at this trail.
