NYC Photo Diary

          It took me a while to sort through all of my pictures from New York City, but here are some of my favorites.  These capture many of my best memories of New York.  I am happy to say that I like this city much more than I expected to.  You always hear really great and really terrible things about New York, but I had an excellent time exploring the city with my boyfriend.  Having gone to New York on May 9th, just after the Met Ball, I was able to go to the Met and see the Charles James exhibit.  I have to admit I didn’t know much about the designer to begin with.  I have a strong appreciation for his work though.  His pieces are so unique and beautiful.  I wasn’t allowed to take pictures, otherwise I would have.  Since a lot of the dresses were designed in the 50’s you would think that they look vintage, but they still look very modern.  It was surprising.  My favorite part of NYC is Central Park.  I think I mentioned that in an earlier post.  I’m always happy to hear people talk about their travels, so that’t why I’m posting about mine.  If you have been anywhere lately I would be more that happy to see your pictures.
