Raw Sugar Deodorant Review

          I have been using this Raw Sugar deodorant for a few months now.  I was looking for a natural deodorant to try out because I have sensitive skin and don’t like to use deodorant with aluminum.  What really drew me in is the packaging.  It’s 100% biodegradable! I love that idea so much.  I’ve been trying to support more brands that avoid plastic.  I was honestly pretty skeptical because there are so many natural deodorants out there and a lot of them don’t work or are super expensive.  This one was pretty affordable.  I can’t remember the exact price but I think it was around $6, maybe.  I found it at Target, in case you were wondering.  I’m not sure where else they sell it.   

          So, as for my opinion about it, I like it a lot.  The scent is Vanilla Bean and Charcoal and it smells really good.  I think there were one or two other options for scents at Target. I haven’t had any issues with irritation or a rash since using it.  Like I said, I’ve been using it for a few months.  Maybe like 3-4 months, I can’t remember exactly but it has been quite a while.  I’m not the sweatiest person.  I think I would fall pretty far on the lower side of the sweaty spectrum.  For me it works really well but if you are a heavy sweater it might not be enough.  I know most natural deodorants don’t work as well as more traditional aluminum options but this one is actually pretty good.  I would definitely buy it again in the future and am hoping to use it consistently long-term.  I really want everybody to give it a shot so the brand doesn’t discontinue it.  I think it is one of the only plastic-free options out there.  I was honestly fully prepared to hate it because I have tried several other natural deodorants and they didn’t really do anything.  I think this one by Raw Sugar is the perfect combination between working well enough, being affordable, and being natural and environmentally friendly.  Just a little F.Y.I, this review is not sponsored or in collaboration with anybody.  Hopefully I have convinced you to give it a shot.
