I got this romper about a year ago from Akira. If you aren’t from the Chicago area, you may have never heard of Akira. Here is their site if you want to check it out. Anyway, I had a chance to wear it this week when I went to New Buffalo, Michigan for the day. I had to alter it and I just kept putting it off. Finally I got it done though. I do that far too often. I will buy something that needs to be altered and take way too long to do it.
I ended up finding a new favorite restaurant. There is this amazingly delicous Italian restaurant that has really pretty outdoor seating. It’s called Brewster’s. Then we went to The Stray Dog for some drinks. Next, we headed to the beach, where there were literally hundreds of seagulls. They were everywhere. I took a short video and posted it on my Instagram page. Then we got ice cream from Oink’s. It was a good day all around.

That romper is so lovely on you and I love the delicate jewelry you paired with it. I think Chicago has some of the best shopping and fashion. When I was visiting, I felt like all of the women I saw walking on the streets were either in dresses and rompers, and I loved that (you don't see a whole lot of that in Oklahoma)! I'll definitely need to go back some day! 🙂
