Seattle

          I didn’t expect Seattle to feel so unworldly.  It kind of feels like you are in a different country or  planet.  Everything has a grey tint from the clouds and it’s sandwiched between the water and mountains.  The space needle sticks out from the city and gives the skyline a very futuristic feel.  We took one of the car ferry boats over from the West.  It was a pretty fun and effortless experience.  It’s just a really easy and inexpensive way to get across the water, instead of driving around.  We also walked around the market and went inside the space needle.  I have been inside a very similar needle in San Antonio, TX (Here) but there wasn’t as much to look at from the top.  I really enjoyed the city overall.  I couldn’t handle that much rain and cloud cover longterm but it was nice for a day.
