          Sleeping Bear Dunes consists of several amazingly huge sand dunes.  It’s in the northern part of the lower portion of Michigan.  Having been there before, I knew what to expect.  However, I did forget just how huge these dunes are.  Some of the dunes are over 400ft. tall.  There were about 1-2 foot waves the day I went, so if you look down by the shoreline, you can tell just how tall the hills are.  The water is extremely blue and very clear.  This was also one of my favorite sunsets of the summer.
          I wore this outfit on the second day of the trip.  I got these shorts recently and am in love with the scallops.  Since they are black, you can wear them with loads of tops.  All summer I had been looking for the perfect pair of scalloped shorts.  I decided to wear a plain white t-shirt with them, to dress them down.  I can’t remember where my hat came from, sorry.  Although, I must say it is on of the only hats that my small head can wear.
