Style Diary 2

             For my Style Diary2 I wanted to update you on what’s been going on in my life lately, style-wise.  I recently completed my internship for the designer Anastasia Chatzka.  Check her out here.  I have been thinking a lot lately and I have decided now would be a good time to try to start my fashion label.  I have always wanted to do it, it was just a matter of when.  And when I say always, I mean since I was in early middle school.  I am overflowing with creativity.  I need an outlet for that.  Right now I don’t have to pay rent so my bills are pretty low.  I’d like to start small and slowly grow, rather that borrow a bunch of money or risk my whole life savings.  I’m also afraid that if I work for a bunch of people first and wait until I am older, something could happen to get in the way.  Or, I might not be very creative by the time I’m old.  For those of you wondering; yes I did go to college for fashion.  I studied apparel merchandising, fashion design, and business.  I probably wouldn’t be doing this if I hadn’t because I would have no idea where to begin.  Right now I am at the brainstorming stage.  If anybody has any ideas for any aspect of my label, don’t hold back.  I’d love to take any advice, suggestions, or ideas.  I’m currently trying to think of a name for the label.  Words that describe my brand or image are; whimsical, ethereal, dreamy, wander, pretty, romantic, feminine, mysterious, airy, daydream, unique, adventure.  I want a brand name that kind of ties all of these ideas together, or makes you think of at least a few of these ideas.  I’m not expecting this to be a big, popular brand name or anything.  I just want to own a small, private label.  I want to keep it small.  That’s the plan for now.  Not sure how it will go but we will see.
