Styling Gingham for Summer
SKIRT: Reclaimed Vintage (Asos) | SANDALS: Wanted | BAG: Unbranded (T.J. Maxx) | SUNGLASSES: Unbranded (T.J. Maxx) | T-SHIRT:
I have been a lover of gingham since basically forever. It just always reminds me of summer because so many picnic blankets come in gingham print. I think Gingham can be good for fall and winter as well, but summer is more fun to style in my opinion. I love this skirt because of the diagonal ruffle and the length. I love how it is a bit longer than traditional midi skirts. Midi skirts are normally unflattering on me because of my muscular calfs. This length kind of hides them, haha. I paired it with this basic ribbed knit tee, black scrappy platform sandals, and wicker-look basket. This actually might be one of my favorite outfits that I have ever posted because I just feel like it all works together so well. The bag reminds me of a picnic basket and the shoes kind of just go with the style.
