Day Trip to Big Bear Lake
SWEATER: T.J.Maxx | JEANS: H&M | SHOES: Puma | BAG: Coach My birthday was this past weekend and I went to Big Bear for the day on Saturday. I wanted to celebrate and see some fall leaves, since LA obviously doesn’t have many. I think we have gone to Big Bear in the fall every year since living here. I really miss changing leaves. I can’t say I’m a fan of southern California autumns. I chose to go to Big Bear because I didn’t want to go too late and miss the peak leaf time (which we kind of missed anyway). I was planning…

Fall Hiking in Big Bear Lake
T-SHIRT: H&M | CARDIGAN: Moon & Madison | JEANS: H&M | SNEAKERS: Ked’s | NECKLACE: H&M This past weekend we did some fall hiking in Big Bear Lake to see colorful leaves. Although the leaves don’t get as vibrant as some areas in the U.S. it’s still nice to see a bit of fall color. There aren’t many areas around L.A. where the leaves actually change. We went to Big Bear last fall as well. Fall leaves is something I really miss about the midwest. It’s nice to have descent weather year round but not so fun in the fall. This is also the start of…

Big Bear in the Summer
TOP: H&M (still available in stores) | JEANS: Asos | BAG: Walmart | SUNGLASSES: Zero U.V. This past weekend we went back to Big Bear Lake. It’s one of those places that i’ve wanted to bring my future dog to. Now that I have one, we can take him. It’s a little mountain town, surrounding a lake in southern California. We have been there twice before, once in winter and once and once in fall. It’s nice because the weather actually changes there so if we want to remember what seasons feel like, we can go. There are a bunch of hiking trails around the lake and in the mountains, a cute downtown with shops…

Big Bear in the Fall
JEANS: H&M (similar) | TOP: TJ Maxx | CARDIGAN: Forever 21 | SHOES: Ked’s | SUNGLASSES: TJ Maxx (similar) The leaves in Big Bear Lake are at peak color for the season so we took a little trip to see them. It’s so nice to see changing leaves again because in the L.A area they don’t really change much. There are a few random trees that do, but for the most part they stay green. That’s something I really miss about the midwest. Fall is so magical. Big Bear is a nice little mountain town about two hours from L.A. and since it’s at a high elevation, it…
