Summer Floral
SKIRT: Target | T-SHIRT: Forever 21 | SANDALS: H&M | SUNGLASSES: Asos I found this skirt in the sale section at Target the other day. It kind of reminds me of like 2009, but I think it’s cute anyway. I really like the colors of the floral. I needed another casual skirt to wear this summer and it was only $6! I love going to stores that have fast-fashion and searching through the sales sections. I feel like trends change so fast and the clothes are so cheap, they normally aren’t worth paying much more than sale prices. You also aren’t 100% supporting fast-fashion…

Parc Des Buttes-Chaumont
Welcome to Parc Des Buttes-Charmont, the most surreal city park! This park is located in Paris. I had never heard of it before, until about a week until our trip. I was watching YouTube videos about what to do in Paris and I found that somebody recommended it in the comments. I looked it up and decided it was worth a visit. It’s like a beautiful fairytale situation in the middle of parisian buildings. It’s so strange and kind of feels like a Disney World ride. It’s actually a really large park with a big hill, paths, bridges, a waterfall, a lake, a mountain,…

The Other Statue of Liberty
Le Grand Palais Le Petit Palais SWEATER: H&M | JEANS: Forever 21 | BACKPACK: Primark | BOOTS: Primark Ever since I went to New York City a few years ago and saw the Statue of Liberty, i’ve wanted to see the one in Paris. We actually almost forgot to see it because I forgot to write it on my list. Luckily, we remembered it on our last night in Paris. It’s much smaller than the one in the U.S. but I think it’s worth seeing. It’s located on an island that just has a path and a few other things in the middle of the Seine.…

Engagement at the Palace of Versailles
Where we got engaged (sitting on a bench). My ring! The palace from the front gate Hall of Mirrors Celebrating Afterwards VELVET DRESS: Forever 21 | CHOKER: Primark | JACKET: Walmart | BACKPACK: Primark | CARDIGAN: Forever 21 | BOOTS: Primark My fiancĂ© proposed to me while we were on our trip in Europe. Specifically, he proposed at the Palace of Versailles. I didn’t know it was going to happen. Although, I had a bit of a feeling. It was pretty much a surprise. I don’t think any of it was too planned out but the way it worked out was pretty perfect. I had…

More of Paris
Luxembourg Gardens TOP: Monteau L.A. | JEANS: Forever 21 | PURSE: Michael Kors This post is about some odd places in Paris. As you can see, there are many pictures of the Eiffel Tower. It is so amazing seeing it in real life and when it sparkles at nigh, it’s magical. I had no idea that the lights would be as sparkly as they are. It’s seriously amazing to see. It happens every hour, at the beginning of the hour (I think). I have to include that the area around the Eiffel Tower is incredible touristy. I thought it would be a bit more clean and…

Notre Dame Cathedral
TOP: Target | JEANS: Asos | Sunglasses: Asos | JACKET: Walmart Out of everywhere in Paris, this area is my favorite. I just love the shore by the River Seine because the streets are cobblestone and there are so many pretty buildings around. Also, the area is just a lot cleaner than other areas in Paris. That is something that I wasn’t expecting. Parts of Paris are very dirty. I know that is bound to happen because it is a major city but people don’t really ever talk about how Paris is dirty, therefore you don’t really expect it. Notre Dame itself is…

The Louvre
JEANS: Asos | TOP: Target | JACKET: Walmart | PURSE: Michael Kors | BOOTS: Primark This day in paris we went to the Louvre. Honestly, I wanted to go to see the building itself, more than the art inside. It’s so enormous and incredible. The architect that designed the pyramids also designed the art museum at the college that I went to (Indiana University). It was just kind of surreal to see everything in real life, including the Mona Lisa. We made sure to be there right at opening because we wanted to get to the Mona Lisa before it got too crowded and take…

Montmartre, Paris
SWEATER: H&M | JEANS: Forever 21 | BOOTS: Primark | JACKET: Last minute emergency purchase from Walmart | PURSE: Michael Kors | SUNGLASSES: Asos These pictures are from our first day in Paris. We stayed in Montmartre so we explored that first. We walked from our hotel to Sacre Coeur, which is beautiful. It’s located on a hill and has amazing views of Paris. There is a carousel located at the bottom and a really nice park right in front. This day was one of my favorites because the streets over here are so beautiful. Even if you are in Paris for a short time,…
