Thanksgiving Outfit 2020

DRESS: Abound (Nordstrom Rack) | BOOTS: Steve Madden | PURSE: Coach | HAIR CLIPS: H&M
Happy Thanksgiving! This year’s holiday was probably a little different for most people. Honestly, it wasn’t any different for me and was even better than last year. Since I live in L.A. and the rest of my family lives in the midwest (for the most part) I don’t really spend the holiday with them anyway. It was just me, my husband, and my puppy. It will probably be a while before I spend Thanksgiving with my extended family. It ended up being really good because we cooked a big mean, went to the park, chatted with family on Zoom, and watched the Thanksgiving episode of Gilmore Girls. Luckily, the pandemic didn’t really affect any of it.
I wore this dress that I got from a Nordstrom Rack sample sale. It’s by the brand Abound. I have a few other things by the same brand. They make really cute items. They do run a big large though. Size small fits more like a medium, just in case you are interested in looking the brand up. Anyway, I feel like this dress is so perfect for Thanksgiving because of the color. It’s like a brick red and feels very autumnal. Also, the style kind of reminds me of a pilgrim (lol). I think it’s the high neck and puffy sleeves. I still really love it. I have kind of been saving if for Thanksgiving, so I haven’t worn it yet. I would like to hem about an inch off the bottom. Aside from that, it fits really well. What did you wear this year for Thanksgiving? Did you dress up or keep if casual?
