Tiered Midi Dress

          I have always had a love/hate relationship with midi dresses.  I like how they look on other people and think they are comfortable but have never really felt confident wearing them.  I think it’s because i’m on shorter side (5’2″) and they cut me in a strange spot.  I also have larger calves and I feel like they accentuate that.  I’ve recently realized that I like midi dresses that are on the longer side.  They hit somewhere between the upper calf and ankle.  This one isn’t necessarily the length that is my favorite.  I’d prefer if it were a bit longer but in general, I love this dress.  It’s super playful and I love the color.  It gives me major Taylor Swift-Begin Again vibes.  It’s just a really fun summer dress.  What do you think of midi dresses? Do you think they are flattering?

          These photos were taken at the Pasadena City Hall.  It’s a very popular spot for photos amongst photographers and influencers.  I’ve seen it all over Instagram but haven’t gotten the chance to check it out until now.  I can see why people love it so much.  It’s a beautiful building with lots of pretty gardening.  There were several people taking wedding photos there.  I wouldn’t mind coming back in the future.  I recommend going on a Sunday because the meters are free.
