Toronto, Canada

It’s like a mini Time Square!

This is one of the largest shopping malls I have ever been it, and definitely the largest Christmas tree I have seen.  It doesn’t look as big as it is.  I couldn’t fit the whole thing.  It goes all the way down to where those people are on the ground floor.

For New Years Day and the following day, my boyfriend and I went to Toronto, Canada.  I’m not sure if I have been there before but it was amazing.  I instantly fell in love with this city and feel like it is way under appreciated.  It’s around 8 hours from my house and I wish I had gone there sooner.  Toronto was much larger than I thought.  It’s huge.  It has it’s own unique big city personality.
While we were there we walked along Lake Ontario, did a lot of shopping, went to a couple markets, ate out at several places, and just did a lot of exploring.  The malls there are amazing.  They are huge and partially underground.  You can go several blocks underground, so you don’t have to go out in the cold.  That huge tree and light up reindeer are inside the mall.  It’s hard to tell how huge they actually are but I couldn’t even fit the whole tree in my picture.  All of the food we ate was really good too.  I really want to go back when the weather is warmer to take full advantage of everything the city has to offer.
