I always seek out pretty gardens, wherever I go.  They are one of my absolute favorite forms of entertainment.  I find them to be so beautiful and peaceful.  I had been wanting to stop by Arlington Garden in Pasadena.  My husband and I decided to go on Super Bowl Sunday because we wanted to take advantage of the fact that everybody else is at home watching TV.  We thought it would be pretty empty, and it was.  This was honestly the perfect day to go because not only was it empty, but it was also perfect weather.  Pasadena can get really hot and I didn’t want to go in the summertime.  This garden isn’t that massive but it is a good size.  It’s free to visit and parking is free as well.  It’s just street parking.  Dogs are allowed too, so we brought our pup.  If you want to visit a larger, more extravagant garden, check out The Huntington Botanical Gardens nearby.  They are incredible but a bit pricy.  There were a few people sitting at the tables eating lunch.  It would be really fun to get some take-out and bring it to the garden.  Maybe next time.

My dress is from the brand Abound.  It’s from Nordstrom Rack.  It’s a little too big but I made it work.  I love the style and print.  It’s such a comfortable dress.  I would really like to find more casual dresses like this one.  I want to dress up a bit more and stop wearing jeans so often.  I’m getting really tired of denim and I am looking for a more comfortable/stylish alternative.  Let me know if you have any suggestions.
