What I Got for Christmas: 2020

SLIDES: Lulu’s | SANDALS: Loeffler Randall | WALLET: Charles & Keith | EARRINGS: Eye Candy Los Angeles (T.J. Maxx)
Hey guys! Hopefully everybody had a good Christmas this year. I know things were probably a little different for many people. Honestly, mine was hardly any different at all. I don’t normally spend it with anybody outside my household because I live so far from family. It has been just me and my husband for the past few years. This year was actually more exciting because it was my puppies (@pompuppyluca) first Christmas! We got him quite a few gifts and you could tell he had a great day. He was super excited to open them and was running all over the place, playing with all of them.
I always feel a little funny sharing what I got for Christmas because there will always be the occasional person that thinks you are trying to brag. It’s not about that. It’s about sharing what you were given or what you chose because it’s fun to share those things. My blog is mostly about fashion and the things I like so it only makes sense that I would share this. Also, I love to see what other people got. I did choose all of these gifts myself and didn’t have any surprises. This year was all about getting things that I have been wanting for years but just kept putting them off. I really don’t buy much for myself when it isn’t a holiday. There also seems to be a theme, haha (gold and stars). That is very common for me. I remember a few years ago everything I got was pink or rose gold.
I will start with the most exciting thing, the Loeffler Randall sandals. If these look familiar to you, it’s probably because I have been posting and talking about them for years. I have the knock-off version from Forever 21, that I wear all the time. Those are starting to get super worn out and I really wanted to upgrade to the authentic, real leather version. I wear them so much that I knew they would be a good investment. They are by far my favorite sandals and go with pretty much all of my outfits. In case you were wondering, I did not pay full price for them. I saved about 30% by buying them from Bloomingdales during Black Friday, which I highly recommend. The next item I want to talk about is this incredible wallet from Charles & Keith. I have also had my eye on this for several years. Actually, it was included in one of the first wishlist blog posts that I ever made, when I was still in college. I can’t believe they are still making it! I just love all of the unique celestial style studs. it’s blue velvet as well and feels like such nice quality. Honestly, I am obsessed. I got the gold loafer slides from Lulu’s in the sale section. I’ve had my eye on them since spring. I needed some new slides so I got them. Lastly, the earrings were a stocking stuffer that I impulsively bought when I was shopping for my husband’s stocking. I love them so much. I just love the eclectic vibe of them. That is pretty much all I got this year aside from some candy and soap that I have yet to receive in the mail. Let me know your favorite thing that you got or did this year.
